Wanted to lock in cheap $SPS ahead of the upcoming #Splinterlands miniset, so I tried the new USDC:SPS pool on Base Blockchain.
Even for DeFi, Coinbase still took a fee on their end, but the bridge was easy, smooth, and better than cryptodotcom!

Smart move, sounds like a smooth DeFi experience overall, 💸
Yes it was quite smooth. I'll be even more excited when the @sps.dao finally adds the USDC:HIVE lp on Base! Finally an easy way for those of us in the USA to acquire $HIVE.
You already have a lot of SPS. Battle rewards must be sweet 😀
They are mate. So far this season, I'm averaging about 45 SPS per win in Modern. I typically review my SPS/win and SPS/battle ratios in my Seasonal Splinterlands report card.
Good job!
I confess I'm looking forward to this new miniset that's coming in December. I have no doubt that SPS will become even more valuable.
I completely agree. I sold off a decent chunk of my BTC profits to try and play the SPS bump ahead of the mini set. I'm also holding a couple million DEC from .0006 and just waiting for the 50% bump to .0009
Excellent!
You'll make a great profit.
I need to get organized to do something similar. But that's the idea, take advantage of the low prices and profit when they're high. 😎
It is a patience play for sure. My problem is that once the mini set comes or I have a reason to spend the DEC, I never realize that profit if packs are priced in DEC.
I understand... especially since sometimes we need to spend DEC on something in the game. But without a doubt, you'll make a good profit!
That is my hope anyway! Now I have to get my land in order... lots to improve, need to be more efficient with my PP/boosts!
Currently, I only own my 5 plots of land. I haven't employed any workers yet. Maybe in the future I'll make the land prosperous.
I hope you can organize yours to be more productive.
