Took my dog to the vet today....Check these bills out:

$200 for some pain medication and an exam

$900 for an xray and sedation

$4000-$6000 knee surgery

Safe to say, I'm getting a gold fish as a pet from now on....

Sort:

Wow, super expensive. An alternative would be a robot dog, I think that it would be cheaper that a real dog hehe

Dude I'm not paying it....I can't afford it lol

But the vet said it's all optional. I did pay for the exam and medication though. But just wow, I should have been a vet lol

One of my friends in Venezuela is actually studying to become a vet. And I told him that it's a great decision. But maybe he could do that in Canada or the USA, and he would become super rich.

Yeah man, it's a great profession!

Not a bad choice. 😂

Wow! That was "brutal" on your pocket.

Thankfully, those were just estimates for everything they are suggesting for the pup...

I paid for the exam today and medication. We'll see how she does!

Got it.

Hope she's dine. 🙏

Your rates are way high compared to the US. Xrays=$125, exam and pain meds = $50 and cheaper surgeries through a normal vet, but equal to those prices for Emergency Animal Hospitals. I'd shop around

It's Canada....Land of the over priced and low value businesses.
