Just so lovely... and again marvels of composition!

Thank you! This one has a lot going on. I heard the boat roar down below so took a picture. Didn't realize there was a skier in tow. Also a car on the road on the far bank. Hard to see on Snaps when zooming but they are there. :)

Ok, now I gotta go back and find all this...

Here is a zoom to help out. Car is near top middle right.

Thank you for the help -- I definitely would not have found it otherwise ... the house and the boat were easier to find this way too!

I had no idea where Oregon was, but I had my suspicions based on the shape of the place and saw that it was in the northwest region. I am fascinated by your photos of this region. This one even shows the beauty of the place with its striking nature.

This side of the mountains where I live now is more of the dry side with more desert type landscapes. Straight across those snow capped mountains to the west is where I use to live. A much wetter and greener environment. Oregon & Washington are both like that.

So you practically have the experience of living in both dry and humid weather. Which of the two do you like the most? But I believe that throughout the year it is not just one type of climate, right? Because then the seasons are more noticeable than here in Brazil.

We definitely feel the change in seasons on both sides. Where I'm at now is just a little drier. I kind of like that for now but I could always change my mind. :)

Hehehe... É realmente uma boa vantagem em poder mudar quando quiser.

Must be flexible. :)

Such a fantastic place. It looks like a painting.

Some more special things to share when I finally get around to the post. :)

Bring it on!

What a beautiful view.

It certainly was. I didn't want to leave. ;)

Nature attracts us to immerse in it. Happy Thursday.

Looks quite barren, of just me? 😯
Thought Oregon was just big big forests

It's a little less green on the east side. Oregon and Washington are divided by the Cascade Mountain Range that acts as a rain shadow. The satellite map shows the wetter/greener west side vs the drier/browner east. Storms off the pacific lose a lot of water crossing the mounts.

Oh didnt know that, but I can clearly see it on the image your provide.

After 40 plus years on the wet side I moved east to be a little drier. ;)

Hehe I can see the beauty of both 😊 But what made you wanna change location? :)

The drier climate was part of it. A little less crowded over here too. A chance to explore new places. :)

I can totally see why less crowd is a big plus, also moved outside our town to a smaller village.
City has its charm but I am kinda over that now :)

Sounds great! I'm excited for the new long post and see a bunch of amazing photos! ^^

Soon. ;)
