Thought I would follow up my black and white Snap from yesterday with essentially the same scene in a different season.

That sunlight is something else on those peaks.

Yeah, it was good timing and a spectacular sunset that evening. :)

Fantastic shot!

Thank you! The sunset was fantastic that evening. :)

Stunning view!

It is a beautiful place for pictures.

Indeed.

Just... wow!

Not to detract from the black and white effect, but this way your photo looks even more beautiful. Even though the photo was taken at a different time :)

Yeah, I don't usually do black and white too much. Usually if the day is really hazy or bad lighting, B&W can make for a better choice in my opinion. It's all subjective though. :)

Coming from a professional like you, this tip is very interesting to make things black and white in those moments in the photos.

Thanks but more of an advanced amateur. lol

Amateur? You're still humble hahaha... But I thought the definition of advanced amateur was pretty cool hahaha...

Great shot and perhaps editing

Thanks! Yes, I use Lightroom to post process most shots I take with my low end Nikon.

Really cool.

Oregon is soo pretty!

This is a great picture my friend.

Thank you! I had natures help on this one. ;)

A great help, where is that?

I'm at a place called Dee Wright Observatory in the Central Oregon Cascade mountain range. It's about 10 miles up the road from where I live.
