This fire is about 7 miles from us and we may need to evacuate. On top of that just had a thunderstorm so it just might be the apocalypse. :)

The Akawa Butte fire is about 3 miles from us right now. We are at level 1 of 3 evac status which means be ready.Things are not too bad at the moment, but hot and windy days could change things quickly.

That's a lot of fires there. A few places here have received evacuation orders. Vancouver went up in flames soon after its incorporation in 1886. Those fires can be fiendishly quick, especially with blowing winds.

That is an awful lot to take in all at once. So what ever the case, hopefully you won't have to evacuate but good to prepare as if you did. Hopefully the firefighters gain control quickly and the storm can do more good than harm. Stay safe!
Yeah, it's a mess right now. Ours is not the only fire in the region so resources are spread pretty thin. We are getting a lot of help from other states right now so that helps.
