The composition is simply breathtaking here -- the sky so blue and fringed with white, setting off all the colors of life and cool lava!
Thank you! It is an enormous field of lava and not very old by geologic time, 1500-3000 years.
The sky looks so blue and complements the lava below.
We do get some amazing blue sky days when the conditions are right.
It's a wild adventure.

It is ... especially in the winter ... only one problem when the sun is not bright ... better to keep walking, which is what I did ... the mosquitoes are not shy ... but the sun came out later!
Ah! our loving enemies, the mosquitoes! I face the same problems when I go to a nearby lake.
They love the water even more than we do ... so I just went around and around and snapped photos ... still very relaxing!

I appreciate you breaking this down ... you are right in that another source of income would EASILY beat that difference from APY to APR. That's a solid Hive post's worth of difference.
