• getting bot voted by some trolls
• most frontends hide negative rep posts
• all actual friends already left hive due to same reasons

Intercity train travel is virtually worthless here. Other than the northeast corridor I don’t consider it an option at all due to being more than 2x driving time and not cheap either.

Intracity it depends. DC has the best that I’ve ridden on, very fast and efficient. Other cities don’t even have train options(or much public transit, and usually none outside of downtown).

the UK is similar though, it's an insanely expensive nightmare to go anywhere by rail, it's just not viable, and there's always something wrong happening that causes delays; last i heard the gov wanted to nationalise it again but i don't think anyone trusts it

The best thing for quitting drinking is to microdose shrooms instead. It will rewire your brain to not like alcohol if that's what you want. Works for cigarettes and weed too. Start with a bigger dose of mushrooms too sometime throughout the beginning of the treatment.
