it is sad and frustrating swimming alone as a minnow in the vast sea of whales you got no company no community. good luck if there is an occasional whale spray. I guess being a part of a community helps even just a bit. Growth takes effort and time and good company
The first 6-12 months on Hive are very hard, but there is a way to make the time count ... for everything you post, find four posts you like and make a good comment. Do this consistently. Give the engagement you want to see, and it will come back to you.
I see many minnows that get bigger upvotes than me. Communities, like minded people and friends don't help. They are key! That said, enjoy making and consuming the content you like. If upvotes are your motivation you're not going to last. No matter if you're a whale or minnow

Each couple gets 6 or 7 offspring and they don't really have natural enemies here.
True... without predators the numbers can grow fast. But they do make the walk view nicer.
