What happens if an AI is in that position? And does an AI resemble its creator? Many interesting questions...

Looks like it. To the question - I think that the latest OpenAI breakout shows how difficult it is to retain AI. Even if they're built with the best intentions, they do learn from all the data available, including all the flaws that humans have. I don't think ethics are codeable.

I used to be like that when I was a kid and my mom was looking to watch it.

An old 8mm of some kind. My dad was really into photography and movies. He lugged all that equipment all over the mountain trying to get the "best shots". He said it made him too tired to make the summit. lol
That is some interesting motivation. But apparently the right one. Quite the character I guess, maybe somewhat determined? But worth it. Quite a legacy.
He did do some crazy things in his life. :)
