Yep, but then, with a good protective product, they last a long time before you have to do it again. Hopefully. 🤪

Haha, pine floors are beautiful but yes, they’re a pain to maintain! 😅
Hopefully after a sand and varnish they'll be ok. I'm good with history and scratches but gotta start reasonably clean...
They're beautiful, but I personally wouldn't bother trying to get them clean and sanded, unless you never plan on using them again. Bearing the marks of the passage of time isn't always pretty, but it may be what pine floors are best for.
Oh you have to sand first.. they were a mess! No raw floorboards throughout..half Vanished...,
