I've read and enjoyed the books that is based on. The movie was okay, but they changed a few things. I will watch more 'gritty' crime shows too, but those can be hard work.

Based on a book series? Oh, now that sounds fun.
I don't read as much fiction these days, but I will put it on my list for when I have a moment to enjoy some guilty pleasure reading.
Richard Osman has written several of these books. They are easy reads.

Okay, this is definitely going to be my holiday reading binge.
I've read all those. We Solve Murders is a separate series with a new one due soon. Actually there's a fifth Thursday Murder Club, but that's enough to last you a while.
