Do you ever feel “extremely busy”? Like you’re constantly juggling your business, your team, and your life, but deep down you know you’re running on empty? I’ve been there too. For Aljona, one of my recent podcast guests, it all began with a simple but powerful realization: “I had to understand that I needed help.”
That honest moment revealed a trap so many high achievers fall into, especially those who lead, build, and serve others. Here’s how it usually happens. You become the dependable one, the go-to person for your business, your team, and your family. You hold everything together until one day you realize you’re running on fumes. I don’t need to tell you this, but I will. That’s not sustainable or smart. It’s the fast track to burnout.
I hope these clips from my conversation with Aljona serve as a gentle wake-up call for anyone who’s been giving from an empty cup. It’s time to take an honest look at where your energy is going and to remember that asking for help isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom.
When you finish reading this, take one deep breath and say to yourself, “I’m ready to make change easier.” Then celebrate that decision. That small action is how transformation begins.

Hello friend, wise words, it's true that mental exhaustion is something that happens to us, and right now, with December approaching, stress also causes us a lot of mental exhaustion. Best regards.
Hello there, @rodriguezkike232! You are so right! December is an awful month for many. On top of mental exhaustion comes depression and loneliness. People really suffer. Now you got me thinking. 🤔 Maybe we can do something about it!
Greetings!

Oh, hey, @acgalarza.
Burn out happens.
The struggle is real.
The longest I ever took off from @creativeworkhour was ten days, and that was for @HiveFest 10.
Our friend @epodcaster suggested I take 30 days off. I was like, “wait, what?” I was tempted. 😂
Oh yes, it’s real, @alessandrawhite! If I’m honest, I have to stay alert because it creeps up on us faster than we can say “what?”, if you know what I mean. I think we should all strive for a life where taking time off to rest and recharge doesn’t mean jeopardizing our responsibilities. I know it’s hard to do, but maybe taking small, conscious steps each week is a good way to start.
Greetings to our dear friend @epodcaster! Maybe this could be another topic for a podcast episode?
