onboarding is different. you get the rewards, but will you bear the responsibility? for your case. let say you onboard your neighbor into hive, you get rewards. Then he/she does something stupid, let say using AI and spammings, and HW or any other community punish them... so you must bear the same result right? you get something from their existence for sure
that's your perception, other have right to disagree and hold different point of views. It happened several times before, the onboarders got punished too so I stands for no incentive at all about it.
Up to now, I have no more activities on onboarding, what I do is only about retention and I take no credits of it.

Not really because refferal rewards or not you will be "linked" to your refferals, The refferal do shit he just dont get rewards and neither do you
