How do you find it more convenient to work the vegetable garden... lengthwise or crosswise? :)

For me, working along the garden is more comfortable.
It allows me to move around easily and keep better control over the rows of plants.
Also, it optimizes the space and makes it easier to access for watering and harvesting.
