I thought 50K delegated HP would earn me more ELIXIR tokens.
Could you explain to me (in more detail) how the distribution based on HP delegations is calculated?
I agree with this. Something does seem off. Maybe it's a mistake, maybe there's a reason. Time will tell 😄

I've been thinking about doing some sort of token myself, related to my UI project.
Not entirely sure that it will actually be launched with a token, but if it does it will be unlike anything else on Hive, with a guaranteed buy back schedule.
But first, I need the UI to be finished 🤣

Thank you for your delegation! I can certainly explain it in more detail.
So the delegation payout is calculated based on the amount of the delegation and also when the delegation started. I show you increased your delegation considerably 1 day ago. The script takes that into consideration and prorates it when calculating the payout, since the larger delegated amount wasn't present when the majority of the previous week's curated HP was earned.
If I were to run it now for just yesterday, it does in fact show you'd earn more ELIXIR than anyone else (6.495957) compared to others like meesterboom (4.467286) and cwow2 (3.706106). Likewise with cwow2, he increased his delegation about 6 hours ago, so his additional delegation is prorated based on the time. The goal is to make sure delegators are paid fairly for the time period they delegated, proportional to the delegation amount.
