You know how I will begin the post... 🙂 Every single time, when I'm editing the recording from the show, I'm saying to myself... This was the best show, EVER! I know that it could undermine all the work in the previous shows and will push the bar even higher, but it was a great show and I bet that all participants can witness that! 🙂
This time, the show was a bit longer and if you didn't attend, you will have a bit more than an hour of AWESOME material to watch/listen to (I would suggest watching as you can follow the chat during the discussion)! But, it is worth checking out! You will not regret it!

A bit of numbers... 22nd #HHHLive show, on 22nd May 2024 on the same day when we are celebrating the so-called Bitcoin Pizza Day... This show was the 3rd most visited show! Right behind those episodes with @good-karma as a guest and the huge bilingual show with presentations of different Hive communities! I'm very proud of the community around the show and all the participants who are coming every Wednesday to contribute, help others in the chat or voice, and have fun! Thank you guys, you are the best!
Another thing that caught my attention is how the topic of this show attracted so many participants! That gives me so much confidence, motivation, and inspiration to continue doing these hangouts as it shows that people CARE ABOUT HIVE, and care about each other!! In the announcement post, I titled the post Helping HIVE to Thrive, and people came here for that reason, which is awesome to see!
The show began perfectly, as @dantrin came on the mic to share his view of HIVE after only a month spent on the platform... Knowing how HIVE can be complicated for newcomers, I have to admit that I was impressed by the level of understanding that Dan had! We heard a story about the recently created Rice Discord Group by the Philippines which would like to spread great vibes on the HIVE... Their first struggles and issues that they are facing...
We went deeper into the topic when @leveluplifeph came on the mic as a creator of this project sharing his thoughts about it... We heard some interesting things about Philippines culture and we learned some new words specific to their way of working! While we had a long discussion about a plethora of topics, the show participants were following the discussion adding great comments in the chat channel!
Also, we dived deep into the topic of centralization of power, how could we do better, how we could decentralize the power... All that reminded me about my speech that I did in the #BuzzParty2024 in Hamburg, which curiously, was recorded and posted yesterday by the @buzzparty team... So, if you have time, you can check it out here...
You know that my favorite topic is HivePower and I like to remind people of the importance of it! It is the thing that is EMPOWERING, not just a person who holds it, but also OTHERS who engage with HP holders!
Before closing this "short" description of the show I just want to send a personal (public) message to @leveluplifeph... I heard your frustration with your previous attempts to find some traction... I (and probably many others) had a similar experience when I was seeking support in the wrong place, from the wrong people, as even they didn't know what they were doing... Personally, I found these shows very valuable, as they motivate me to push forward, especially seeing people who are thinking in a similar way as I... and who are struggling with the same issues...
Maybe we are not "whales", but we do understand and we can help in "our" way... And I have to share a screenshot from the Ecency Discord from the show by @beeber
That's what we can bring to the table, and make a bigger difference than a big upvote!

There are a lot of people from PH community that are actively onboard users like @intoy.bugoy. He might need to check around. I think there's indeed a lot of potential but from my experience here from a long time ago, there's always different types of PH crowds hehe. So, maybe he wants to create another one? idk but would be interestingly to see how it plays out. Will have to listen fully too it too :)
Thanks for hosting this meetup @ph1102. I will reflect on all the comments and feedback. The most important thing for me to do now is ignore noise and focus. There are a lot of distractions on HIVE and pulling in different directions. Focus, Scripture, Clarity, Blessings, Growth, Progress and lets go.

That is so true! I had a very bad time when I was trying to be everywhere... Also, following some drama on HIVE (we always have some... lol...), where I can't help or change anything it makes no sense at all... That ate a lot of my time...
Lately, I'm trying to keep my head down, work with what I have, support people who are supporting me, and try to be a useful "wheel" in the machine that thinks positively...

Well, I keep listening while I do my housework hahaha, strangely I understand a lot even though it's not my language. I'm glad so many people have joined, I hope it continues to grow and I'll join someday. It's definitely the topic that caught my attention and it's very special because there are so many people who want to contribute in some way...

Nice show. I like how different people view things. For example the hive delegation for votes reminds me of something that people talked about in the past but I wasn't here when it was an issue.
I like the talk about people engaging and the coffee shop example.
It's amazing how HIVE can be integrated into many different things in life, and vice versa... And also, it's interesting that sometimes we don't see the huge potential of it, and that's why it's important to have a dialogue and discussion with others and exchange ideas, and points of view...
I'm happy to see that the show was the place where we did that! And I hope it will be a place for that in the future too!

From the beginning I have said that I do not want to be a whale, I prefer to be a dolphin that plays and has fun swimming with my friends than a heavy mole that can barely be moved. 😘

Im Nigerian. I won't say, I have friends, I have colleagues in the space and we've come very far, truly it might not be about the upvote but what we can truly share and learn. There's this guy motivating me to get SPS with his posts, if not for his motivative posts I might have say, arghh I'm comfortable with my 5k SPS, but he's motivated me, we talked, I know his story and he once tried helping me woo a lady. So most times what we learn, the job of knowing someone who is real and not some Facebook weirdo or Twitter person looking to farm monetization.
Agree... It's more than getting an upvote or two... It's nice to get them, but the real value is in those connections that we made... Every next Hive meetup that I attend, I'm more aware of that and it's a kind of addiction... 😃 It's awesome to meet people who think "at your level" and the feeling of knowing the person "for your whole life" is the weirdest thing that happens... But, it's a nice feeling... :)
I attended a hive meetup in my early days, it was a very good exposure. Sadly, those guys are no longer on the chain, but it's really good to meet and know people like you've said. People who you can actually relate to and who you can get to know for a long time and even share better relationship with as time goes on. But, then the upvotes do matter too.
I suppose meetups can have a good effect when we try to attend them continuously... In that way, people stay motivated, wait for the next meetup to have fun with friends, and in the meantime, hang out on the chain...
Hey hey I enjoyed the show a lot even though I was an intermittent attendant 🤣 o wanted to talk but I was listening while I was taking care of some errands in the street, so maybe next time, but you know that I don't know when my next participation might be hehehe
Something I remembered while listening to the show were the conversations held at the #buzzparty in hamburg with @kiel91 and @anna-newkey so it seems like a good idea to invite them to know your show, hopefully some Wednesday they can make some time and come over to debate a bit.
