Standards are really needed by us all. Indeed there should be a great limitations to that in which we are doing. In even the slights dealings with people they should always be a decorum to follow for all betterment.

Deciding what we really want is a great step in setting up a standard we cannot decide unless we decide what we really want, without deciding that it might just be a thought but actions are really needed for it.
We should know what is good, what is more, what is less, know our limits and know how to go about that in which we really want.
Setting standards means holding ourselves and others at high prestige and expectations when we are interacting with others. There should always not be any form of belittling others around us we should make sure to take people at expectations that they can deliver that in which is expected of them and we on the other hand would also try to do that to make people believe our words.
We should be deligent and trustworthy in all in which we are doing our yes should be our yes and our no should be our no. Let people know you for that in which you are, it can by God's Grace pave great ways for you in that in which you are doing. Know how to talk and interact with people plainly with being any form of bias and that would really be of great help.
We should always set standards in our every day in our Lives 🙏.
