✨From a favorite corner of the house to an oasis in front of the house: When dreams blossom in a new space ☕❤️
Hello, my lovely friends!
It always starts small, and so does our shop. It began with a love for brewing, a passion for the aroma of coffee beans, and the warmth shared through a cup of coffee in a small corner of the house. But as time passed, the flavors we carefully crafted began to attract people. The space that once seemed just right started to feel smaller. The fragrant aroma of coffee began to fill the entire room.
The hallways that were once empty became filled with equipment and ingredients as the number of orders increased. Until the day our hearts told us:
It's time for this dream to expand to a more open and spacious area.
A record of moving to a new beginning.
The image of moving isn't just about lifting tables or moving cabinets; it's about gradually taking dreams out and placing them in a new location, piece by piece, amidst the chaotic yet exciting atmosphere of setting up the shop. We saw details of the house from angles we'd never noticed before.
Rearranging familiar items in new places under natural sunlight reveals a brighter hope. Although the constant rearranging and focusing to achieve the perfect balance is tiring, the overall effect of seeing the space gradually take shape makes that weariness disappear, replaced by a sense of pride in creating this space with one's own hands.
A major decision to break away from the old ways and reach for the sunlight
Moving to the open space in front of the house wasn't just a change of location; it was a complete transformation of the shop's spirit.
Facing challenges, previously sheltered by a roof and walls, stepping out meant learning to live with nature—the sunlight, the wind, and the dust—which we had to manage. But these things became a charm that made the shop feel vibrant.
Opportunities for eye contact: The front of the house became a bridge connecting us to the outside world. Seeing people pass by, exchanging smiles with neighbors, and customers being able to easily approach us without hesitation, unlike walking deeper into the house, transformed our shop into a public space filled with friendship once again.
An oasis of refreshing tranquility, the perfect atmosphere. Once the arrangement was complete, what appeared was a surprisingly harmonious front yard bar. A favorite dark green sofa was adorned with clean white floral cushions, inviting guests to relax and unwind.
Beneath the wooden table, a resident tabby cat kept company, bringing a smile to anyone who saw it. Outside, by the roadside, high bar stools were placed against a patch of vibrant green artificial grass, transforming this spot into a refreshing resting place for passersby.
Today, the aroma of coffee is no longer confined to the confines of the house; it's wafting on the breeze, greeting people on the streets—a beverage ready to bring happiness to everyone who steps into this oasis in front of the house. Besides that, there was a small obstacle: repairing the old coffee machine. Unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed; it will probably take a while to find a technician. In the end, we had to give up. It was past lunchtime, so we ate first. Today's meal was pork curry with bamboo shoots and an omelet. After finishing lunch, it was time to write this article. I'm writing a little slow today; it took a while to get everything sorted out, and it's still not finished.
