Reality has a way of asserting itself.
I was getting ready to chart the rest of my summer trips to Presidio Bitcoin here in San Francisco – I had just made my second when the very next day, my mother fell ill, and that took care of me running around for the entire rest of the summer.
This first week of autumn, my mother solidly made it into the recovery category.
Bitcoin cannot turn the clock backward for beloved elders, and there is no substitute for loving presence when the chips are down.
But, like I said, reality has a way of asserting itself.
Bitcoin's inherent value as hard money has not changed while prices are going up because the dollar is going down.
Having Bitcoin means I have options that others do not have to be able to take the time to take care of my family. Having Hive with that also means I have the double interoperability of both Bitcoin and Hive as HBD is increasingly adopted and Bitcoin is already valued globally.
Now that I am able to get back on track, I can review my notes about all the things I found out people are doing with Bitcoin at my last trip to Presidio Bitcoin – there's a lot happening in terms of apps!
I'm also looking forward to what Hive is doing for global business to be an opportunity to grow my HBD, and thus also, my Bitcoin in the coming years, while others worry about the bear market … and quite a bear it may well be in all markets. I'm not saying that's not going to have real impacts. I'm saying knowing about, understanding, and having Bitcoin is going to make a difference, if for no other reason than knowing I have something that's not going to be gone with the inflationary wind.
Bitcoin can't do everything, but it can do a lot to keep life going for those who understand and are ready to work with it. It's a good place to be in, even as life continues to happen!
Happy to read your post about the role bitcoin can play in our life
Have a great day
Enjoy
Thank you ... I have had time to really think about where Bitcoin fits in!
