In life, it is up to us and us alone to move forward, improve and see things from a different perspective. We are the creators of our own reality. What the worker said can inspire many people in different areas, such as you with language. It motivates you to improve in that area and grow as a person.
My native language is Spanish, and I express myself freely and very well in it, especially when writing stories, which I love. Everyone has to find that motivation, that drive or reason for what they do in life. In my case, here, it was to do everything I love most and that would open new doors to wonderful things, and it has done so. Everyone designs their own life.
What you have achieved is important, and every day you can achieve more. Your inner self will help you in this, I am sure. A big hug!

I have read some of your works and it's always beautifully written. In fact with Spanish speaker, I feel like they are more expressive when they write in Spanish more than English. To me, when I write in my supposedly native language, it's a disaster. I am more expressive in English than Indonesian.
