It's been a little while since I've shared what I'm reading; I've been so busy with life I'll admit I've not had as much time to read as I would like but I've managed a chapter here and there and with the last book now complete I went out on Saturday to pick up a new one which I have pictured.
This book was recommended to me by the wife of one my my sexy guy's work colleagues who I met at an event recently and it sounds really interesting.

I've not begun the book just yet, hopefully this week, but it is one I'm really interested to understand because of the scope and subject matter.
It covers so many years, from the past to well into the future from now, and is a story that spans topics like AI and capitalism, possible futures and how humanity will cope or face those futures and the rise and effects of violence as well - all through the eyes of women. It's broad, and from what I've been told is incredibly well written and thoughtful.
I purposely don't like to hear too much about books that are recommended to me as I like to make my own impressions and thoughts although from what I have heard this book will not leave me disappointed as it leans towards the suggestion that through caring for each other, gentleness we may be able to save the decline of a wholesome and viable society. I like the idea of that.
Hey you! It's been a while, hope you're doing great. 😎
I hear ya on not getting too much chance to read, try and make that 'escape' time though, books are truly good for the soul, I think, I never learned how to use a kindle or indeed, any e book kinda thing, there is something about the feel and smell of the pages of an actual, honest-to-goodness, real life book!
Take good care, happy August 🌻
Hello there, I hope you're doing well after what I imagine was a terrible and worrying time in your life. Hopefully things have picked up and you're your usual chipper self once again.

Thank you so much 😊
I indeed extremely positive and oddly optimistic, getting to write again has helped my mind gain a little more clarity and focus too. The one thing that has persevered throughout is the slightly warped and at times dark sense of humour, without that, I do not believe I would be here.
Genuinely lovely to be able to
breathe air and do the whole living thingconnect with awesome characters like your good self again.Stay awesome and be happy 😎
Th wide range of topics certainly opens of the various avenues of life and may help to learn from past and prepare for the future.
The present is all we have but we need to look to the future don't we.

Undoubtedly, the world could avoid a bad future with the kindness you mention and mutual respect for one another. I hope people open their eyes. I hope so...
It seems like a very interesting book on realistic topics. Thank you very much, Becca.💗
Could is the word...but will it? I am not sure because human beings are selfish creatures.
I hope you're having a good weekend.

Honestly, I don't think it will. Unfortunately, the world is heading in an ugly direction.
Anyway, I hope you're having a great weekend, Becca.💗
