Since the stroke, I seem like I am more capable of pushing through physical stress for longer, whether it be heat or pain, or just lethargy.

That's great! My father, unfortunately, is just the opposite. No resistance to physical stress anymore, though he constantly works on that.

And no, it's not a benefit. Not being able to feel the signals your body sends you is quite dangerous. But at least you might throw up before something happens... And since you're doing it for a while now, maybe you're body will just get used to it, and become stronger. Hopefully.

I have zero motivation to do anything at all, which is my biggest hurdle. Once going, I just keep going until done.

Yeah, it is a strange feeling to know that I could keep going until sick. But I still "feel" the sickness, so I know to stop.
