Pondering Through Sunrises

Hello there, Hivers!

It has been quite a week. It started by being notified a dear colleague passed away. This was the most sudden news I got. Then I was also notified that my favorite spot for coffee is closing in Sunday. Even more bad news. Life is like that. Tomorrow is not promised and everything ends when it does.

That sucks and there is nothing to do about it. I got the courses from the deceased professor. I will have to look for another spot to for coffee. There are some arrangements to be done during the rest of the week. I am still sick and that prevents me from doing physical activity. It seems I hit one of those spots when life gets you down and you do not want to get up. I guess it is normal after having had some amazing time with a good routine and working of many things at the same time. It feels like my body also wanted to get some rest. It deserves it. However, I would like a break from life. It did not get the memo.

On the bright side of things, one of my workshop projects has been already paid in full and I have been spending some money into more tools. There is an extra activity to be had at the end of the month for that instrument. It will be a meeting between hivers with music and other things. The extra courses will also give a boost to the finances. So not everything is bad. The saddest part of the event is that the professor was still young. I believe not even close to 50 years old.

Anyhow, life is short and moments are precious. Or so are the things that come to mind when I get to re-watch my old photos of sunrises and edit the for posts. Between all this is the end of the liketu era in Hive. That will be a sad, but some things do not work and the project get to an end. Hopefully we will have another option for microblogging. Maybe not.

In the end, tomorrow is another day and some new thing might happen.

The sunrise photos look great!
That’s a lot to take in at once! It’s never easy when things change so suddenly but it's nice that there are still some good things ahead~

My condolences for the death of your colleague and professor. Just as you said tomorrow is never certain we just live our lives and expect the unexpected.

But all hope is not lost as long as there is life.

Yes, it has been a heavy blow for the English Teachers' Community at local level, but things like these happen all the time. They do not get easier.
