Devoted

Sometimes I reflect upon what's going on in my life at that very point in time because I see it as a way to understand what might be right or wrong, where I need to push a little more or pull back; it's a habit I learned a long time ago and it has worked well for me.

Invariably, thoughts like that also make me think about the past and future as well.

I have always tried to do the things I've done in life to a good standard, with vigour, effort and with the intention of making my life better, more happy and enjoyable or to consolidate what I already have and again, it's worked very nicely for me.

I hold to the thought that if something is worth me doing, if I am putting my efforts towards something, I should do so with the expectation that I devote my full attention to it and the intention to be successful; I'm not always successful though, and neither do I get everything right but looking back I am happy to see that I've been devoted to living my life in the best fashion and to the best of my ability.

Thinking about that past and the present makes me happy to look forward to the future knowing I'll apply the same devotion to making it the best possible future.

Always looking forward to the future is what drives most people to put in more effort in what they are doing

What experiences have you personally had that leads you to make this statement?

Always focus on how to make your future better

How have you personally done so?

I don't understand why the question like I don't get

I'm not one for could've should've would've either. There are many things that I will not repeat the same way, but overall, I'm content with my past and the possibilities that it opened for my future.

i made it a custom to debate with myself. Consider other people's possible Arguments, looking at my actions from different perspectives. I tend to make good decisions, but I also know that I get cocky way too fast. Something to keep tabs on...

It's a strong person (and a smart one) who lives in a way that avoids the possibility for future regret. You seem to be a very savvy person.
