Life Is Hope!

"There is joy, there is joy in giving, there is joy in service—even in the smallest and most humble surroundings."

There are many people around us, with whom we spend our daily lives, most of them are truly optimistic. It is simply hope that keeps us alive and active. If a person is alive, has a life, is working, means they actually have hope. Hope is the driving force of life that keeps us motivated and active in life. Truly there is no life without hope. Another meaning of life is hope.

Hope is more visible in some people, on the other hand in others it may have a diminished face slightly or significantly. Those who are constantly inspired by work ethics, we call them optimists; and those in whom this focus is comparatively less, we entitle them as either hopeless or pessimists.

In a practical scenario, I'm focusing more towards the earlier one. Though it would have been better to understand the other to empower them, even though it's just a little. In order to give them a bit of courage, a slice of strength we have to come forward a little. Religion and the teachings of great humans tell us the same thing.

And I don't know how we label or characterize someone as pessimistic? Even though they are alive, they are sighing for the next moment as well as living their beautiful life. How do we consider or perceive their hopes as buried in the coffin of emptiness? They eat, gain strength, study, or engage in professional daily tasks, yet whatever they do, characterize them as 'pessimistic' is naturally unjust or unfair.

Life and hope are synonymous. If there is life, there is hope which never fades away. Hope is the only thing that may lead anyone to academic or professional success, fulfillment of dreams, or financial prosperity. If I say it another way that hope exists, sometimes more or less; noticeable or sometimes unnoticed. Our job now is to always enhance the power of this eternal hope, to ignite their hopes a little better. Perhaps, the path to success and joyful living becomes easier and believe me it's entirely possible.

So I am asking you all that why do our hopes and initiatives dwindle? I know we've various stresses, tensions, instability, fear, lethargy, and prolonged pessimism are often labeled as other reasons. Fundamentally, all of these things weaken us morally and emotionally. And thus transform the initiative and enduring hope within a person, turning them into so-called pessimistic individuals to consider them as others in a social setting.

Here I want you to consider a dark room that is devoid of any light. Now, why is there no light in this room, how did the light go, how can it be lighted again, how much light is needed for the room, and how can it be managed—discussions, meetings, committees can be held on these matters? But we forget the simple truth that an ordinary candle can illuminate the room again. That is the motivation my friend.

It is sudden that the departure from the circle of life-damaging pessimism and negativity is one simple way; but at the end of the day the motivation of hope is just to get to work. Whether it's stress, tension, fear, lethargy, or prolonged pessimism, whatever it may be; the crucial thing is how to manage or mitigate them. First of all, we should focus on what we have, the little strength and capability we possess, keeping in mind we need to get to work. Joyful work—where there is joy in work, there is the joy of living and hope will definitely fuel the rest.

Many of you might ask, how can work alone make a person optimistic? Someone I know has a beautiful saying: 'Work is like the water of the Ganges. When immersed in work, it washes away all negativity, gloom, and despair, leaving a person alive, vibrant, and pure.' In other words we can say that, they emerge as the owner of a healthy body and a tranquil mind. As our life progresses, they are filled only with hope, more hope, and even more hope, which fuels our initiative and enthusiasm. As a result, true success comes effortlessly through self-motivation even though it is so small.

Work possesses its own inherent power, has the certain power to create a virtuous circle. And this circle consists of hope, initiative, and the joy of endeavor for the greater good. And if that work is for the welfare of humanity, then a stress free and joyful life becomes easily attainable.

Beside efforts in work and joyous endeavors, we should cultivate our intrinsic optimism and constructive outlook on life. We should remove all pessimistic thoughts, behaviors, and perspectives from our life. Listen to the voices of hope and optimism within yourself. Your mind will naturally guide you, and you yourself will become an invaluable, unique, and meaningful example of this profound statement.

Thanks for your time.
Be hopeful and optimistic.

Hey there!

Simple things.jpg

How do we label or characterize someone as pessimistic? Even though they are alive

How do we consider or perceive their hopes as buried in the coffin of emptiness?

Great questions there.

There's a great saying in my country that, "If a man is not dead, do not call him a duppy (ghost)".

Meaning, once there's life, there is hope, and that people succeed at different times. One might seem down and out, but it doesn't mean that that person cannot achieve and do great things at another time.

But we forget the simple truth that an ordinary candle can illuminate the room again.✅

I think it's normal for people regardless of how optimistic they are, to be pessimistic at some point, and that's ok. Sometimes, it's just the work of wisdom and experience. However, when a person is naturally wired to have pessimistic thoughts, then they must take all actions to change their mindsets, which of course is achievable with effort, practice, and belief.
