Goodday hivers!! It's actually my first time posting here hope am welcomed 😊and here's been something I've been reflecting on for some days now so i decided to put it up here.
The number of single parent these days is alarming and this what brings my question is it an option being single father or mother or it just fate"
Before i proceed i will like us to deeply the context of single parent,a single parent can be seen as a spouse who raises a child alone without the support of his/her partner.
And many of us would agree that single mothers are more than single fathers. Someone being single mother can be also option and also be fate.
Some ladies or men see marriage as a bondage where you're entitled to be with your partner for life,as many of us have seen people life end abruptly because of marriage that's why some them decided to have their child and care of them singlehandedly without a partner or spouse.
While some can be through fate which either death, divorce, abandonment, unplanned pregnancy which leave them with no option but to take care of their child or children alone.
So we can see being a single parent is case of choice and also fate. Alot of women out there choose to be single mother because of trauma's they have experienced in the past,they would just rather have boyfriend's rather than to have lifetime partners.
But, here's is the thing, some people are quick to judge to single mothers,viewing them from a negative angle but some single mother are like hero's because it's not easy taking care of a child/children, balancing work with the responsibilities and uncountable emotional stress.
Instead of judging them without knowing their story help them, support them and if can't help at all just keep your eyes off them.
