I don't understand some (a lot of) things about religious people. My mother is already praying daily for every person she has(and probably haven't) met. But in addition to this every month she goes to a certain church and pays 30(?) eur to lght some candles. For a few living and for the dead. She is praying so much that in my opinion church should be paying her and not the other way around...

I would not mind that either. But I think that those days abolishing it would be hard. People would likely be attacked just for sugguesting that idea.
I like how Hoxha did in Albania regarding this, or why not like educational camps in China, people will easily give up with religion
Exactly! They should be helping people to live, rather than being kept alive by people.
To me church sounds very much like mafia. your family member is sick or dying? well you should pay up for that. baptism? Marriage? That is really nice- it means that we will get paid again. Not to mention that confessions are kept a secret so many serious criminals are forgiven and get to walk free...
At least the mafia provide protection when you pay.
