Sometimes it's difficult to get into the swing of things, concepts like this, which has certainly been the case with me over the years; but once begun (and habit created) most look back and regret not starting sooner and also celebrate the fact they began. I've done this for many years and can attest to its effectiveness as a method of finding oneself, understanding and a way forward. It's also nice to look back on who I was and weigh up against who I am...amazing perspective.

I was going to say, looking back on the journal would be interesting. Now that I think about it, I did used to do this thing where I would send an email to this particular address which kept your messages as a diary.
From time to time it would send you a reminder to write a diary entry and send you a random entry that you sent before. It was fascinating to read what I had written before and see the mindspace that I was in.
I like that email thing. It's be an interesting way to "journal" one's life, thoughts etc. Create an address specifically to send emails to and they're time-stamped and collated by date. Going back over them years later would revealing I'd say.
