We consider ourselves finished because we believe that if there is no success, there is nothing more.
But that's not how life works. I had to wait many years to be recognized with an award for years of service for my perseverance and discipline, I think I would also add my talent. Many times I have felt finished, simply because I have failed or because someone else who was not good enough at something to stand out, and I stupidly believed that story.
I gave more weight to the validation of others than to my own self-validation simply because I reached the goal where I thought I should be. And that's where the mistake started: "I mistook the ending for a stumble."
Many times the key is not to achieve immediate success, it is to know how to get up when everything screams at you that there is no more way.
Life turns around, and just when you think you have nothing more to give, it surprises you and tells you to keep going, you still have stories to write.
What I am writing about is so true, that I have a good friend, and she is even a colleague of mine at the university in my city where we both practice our professions, she says that she is at an age where she is probably not going to get a job elsewhere outside our country.
And because of that, she has decided to stay where she is. I told her, friend, you don't have to be so conformist, as long as you can live and be healthy, you keep going, as long as you look for your well-being, or suddenly it's me who thinks like that, I don't have to stay in a job but I feel good and age is not an impediment for me.
It's amazing how a negative phrase marks you for life maybe because at that moment we don't have the appropriate tools to value ourselves and know that we can all have a special gift, we just have to discover it.
Definitely every day we should raise our ego, take care of our internal dialogue, and to know what yes and what not to give space to in our life.
We all like to be valued. The fundamental thing here is that validation should always start with ourselves, from our self-esteem.
Self-love is the starting point.

No one is finished until they stop trying. It applies to everyone and everyone, including the countries that embrace this planet. It had to be said. Thanks for reading me.

You're welcome.
Speaking of injustices... do you know how many I've been through? Until one day I understood that my best reward is to love myself. And so, the Universe, which works in such a beautiful way, brings me more love. With time I have also understood that there are things that don't touch us even if we pursue them, because there are better things waiting for us.
I believe that all this way of thinking has come out of silence. From observation. And I think that most people don't give themselves time alone, in silence, they don't stop being in the noise and pushing and pushing walls instead of finding windows.
So my dear friend, to pause and disconnect for a moment is to choose carefully to which we give our attention and our energy.
Happy start of the week, by the way the last of January🌹🫂
