The saying that happiness is free is actually truism. Most people believe that happiness welds from the abundant presence of wealth and luxury. Happiness is from within and in as much the environmental factors ignites it, most times; minor things which are free celebrate this and ignite it. A writer once said “happiness is a multitude that follows intentionality around” most people don’t understand how amazing a thank you is, it triggers the hormones that release a particular enzyme that helps the body. Once a service is offered and a thank you is rendered, there is this satisfaction that swells from the innermost. This satisfaction is associated with happiness.
When there is happiness, there is a genuine smile. A smile changes an awful day to a bright one. “You choose to be happy because you are intentional about yourself and your mindset”. Happiness is a wild fire that spreads wide and fast. Just like in a dark spot once a light is switched on, no matter how dim, it brightens the entire spot and serves as a form of guidance to anyone. Happiness intrigues encouragement and fills up the lacuna of depression and pain.
Listening to music, going through old pictures triggers my happy memories and it gives me happiness, in as much I cannot relive those memories, I can boldly say that it makes me happy. Reading books makes me happy, and when I am happy, you see my face glimmer with smiles which also creates a source of happiness in someone.🌹❤️
Happiness is not always gotten from the outside. Be a producer of happiness. Celebrate your little wins; be happy for your existence. Be thankful, an appreciation from you to another is a free gift that will lighten one’s day. Do what makes you happy. Don’t allow anyone to take away what makes you happy, you deserve to be happy, yes, you deserve happiness. Don’t get scared of getting happy.
