It hasn't been the nicest month for being an altcoin holder when everything is going to shit except for bitcoin. Surprisingly and good to see that our precious Hive tokens is holding up a lot better than a lot of other tokens which were back to the 90% down in the blink of an eye. Ouch.
The thing with the markets and crypto remains that you don't really have an idea on what will happen or what is creeping below the surface. Take these snaps of random branches that I saw laying around in the woods. When the barch is on...it is a beautiful to see...when the barch is off...all kinds of little paths are creeping below the surface.
Countless little critters must have been living here and none of them have the slightest idea of where they are going.
Sounds familiar right?
The thing is with these branches is that you can only see what is underneith when the top surface is gone. I guess this is the same happening to a lot of tokens that are on the market. Only when the top surface is off, that is the moment where you can see what was happening there underneith.
Tokens
During the alt coin drops it is hard to see between the blood that a lot of tokens had countless FUD going on. RUNE is still in the red zone trying to get the trust back from the community. The TRIAS community is still waiting on white smoke for the mainnet launch and releash of their tokens.
Heck even our precious Hive had an attack on the hive engine yesterday from someone creating an account, leasing RC and bombing and amount of transactions, leaving the a pile of transactions stuck in traffic.
What the heck is creeping there that someone wants to make an account which refers to one of the bigger names as a big f^*&ck you and decides to let a lot go to shit?
What is happening below the surface where all of these pathways are going built?
Good stuff happens as well!
The cool thing also happening below the surface is also there. During previous year the steady inflow of followers to my account continued, and I have the feeling that those followers are a lot more human than a lot of the accounts that started following me 7 years ago. Damn those were a lot of bots back then. Not that there aren't any bots here, on the contrary...but the bots replying at least seem more human haha.
That is good because the community of a token is the backbone of everything. And that is where it starts...community, enthusiastic people, people who want to come back.

Good stuff still happens. Just like eventually the alt coin market will do again. Community.....that is what will do the trick eventually
Markets are crazy... I'm starting to doubt if we are even in a bull market! :) Do hope thorchain can rise from the ashes, it's one of my favourite projects; and do hold some rune!
