Deck looks lovely with all the stair lights :) Is it going to stay open like that or you going to put a cover over it?
I could be completely misjudging but I'm sure you'd be fine if you just jumped out the window and then safety rolled in event of a fire XD
I suppose that does require knowing how to collapse into a safety roll, maybe you should try out the cool looking ladder XD
We've wanted one of those egg chairs for a while, or a more outdoorsy "nest" variants that can hang from a tree, but J was violently opposed to spending anything at all on anything he didn't see as absolutely essential (which made homeschooling extremely difficult sometimes, he's much better about it now but that doesn't help in the slightest what we needed back then). The egg chair would require the patio to be bigger though and for that I'm going to have to wait til whenever we get around to doing our renos.
Does nothing at all grow in winter there? There's likely to be winter prep work for the following warm months that you could do and if nothing else probably a million tasks inside the house right XD
