Totally makes sense. In real life I don't even take most of the local phone calls. If it is not in my address book and I am not expecting a call I will let it go to voice mail and if it is something that I should call back about then I will. Otherwise no action required.
And they never leave messages. Here I do answer, because there are lots of medical things coming from numbers I don't have - but they also tend to use apps and messages now also, not many direct phone calls unless arranged. Sales calls have dropped a lot in the last few years though - better filtering, or different channels used?
