There's nothing more disheartening than spending a couple of hours putting together a really well thought-through piece of creative writing than to get no useful comments.
For sure. I get it that I normally get comments, but I wish people would use my section as a place to connect and engage with others. Most decent follows for comments come through engagement on other people's posts. I have always wanted to have my blog as a type of matchup service hub.
if I am upvoting a comment, that I've giving more than 2 cents' worth so it doesn't fall below the dust threshold.
I don't think that matters anymore, does it? I will have to check, but I think the last HF did away with that.
There's been a definite increase in AI-posted or AI-written comments which just try to summarise my original post in a sentence rather than actually discussing it.
This annoys me a lot.
