You are constantly influencing me. I find it interesting how people live in Finland.
For instance, I am struck by the fact that four kilograms of raspberries at the supermarket cost the same as one gram of gold. Then I learn that back in the 19th century, a 10-gold-mark coin (containing three grams of gold) could buy 12 kilograms of raspberries—meaning four kilograms cost one gram of gold. The price ratio between gold and raspberries in Finland has remained unchanged for centuries.
And I am 99% sure that you’re about to treat me to 5 grams of delicious raspberries :). Unfortunately, fiat money and tokens have lost a great deal of value, while high-quality produce has become very expensive. Yet I remember the 80s: we would come back from the forest and treat our neighbors to liters of wild blueberries and raspberries, and they, in turn, would treat us to liters of their own honey.
