Amazing Nature Photography ~ A Butterfly Digitally Filtered ๐Ÿฆ‹

in Amazing Nature โ€ข 3 years ago (edited)

Today I have some various digitally filtered images created entirely from my original photo of a stunning red coloured Butterfly. I have no idea of the Scientific name of this species. Perhaps @thekittygirl may know the answer, as she is very clever with naming Moths & Butterflies I think.

Yesterday I made a mistake by not publishing to the tribe "Amazing Nature Community" on Hive. So I hope to post correctly tonight...๐Ÿ˜€
My original Photograph of the Butterfly was taken on one of my many Nature walks back in the Summer of 2020.

I have given the original photo a new perspective with three different variants: Oil Paint (Zinc Filtered), Sepia and lastly a simple Monochrome version. The original photo is also included in this post if you scroll down to the last image.

The original photo was taken by me with an Apple iPhone 7 ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Once again the Graphics Software that I used most was "PhotoPea" for the digital filtering and slight brush tool edits. Also my ShutterStock Editor Account was used partly for the "Text Edit" and plain colour Backgrounds.

However, Although I do feel satisfied with the final result... ๐Ÿค”
As always Nature is the ultimate Artist in my opinion!

To be honest... for the other butterfly I named, I just did an online search in BING for "butterfly england" and scrolled thru the pics until I saw the one you had photographed. ๐Ÿ˜ The same search-phrase revealed this is a Peacock Butterfly (Aglais io) because of the large "eyes" on the wings. Your photo is lovely, and I like that first edit, where you removed the background! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yayyy! I knew you would find it Kitty ~ The eyes on the wings are quite unusual , not often seen that before! Many Thanks for your effort @thekittygirl โˆš
