Amazing Nature Contest

#amazingnature contest hosted by @adalger

My original focus and intent was to take a picture of the Milkweed pod that was growing next to a cement barrier.
I could see a few seeds were ready to take flight on a windy day.

I was moving around trying to get the close up shot when to my surprise a black wasp emerged from the hole.

I don't know if there was a nest inside with more wasp .
I suppose I could have found a little stick and poked around some..😁 but I didn't.

Nature is abundant with amazing surprises.
I hope the seeds from the Milkweed pod germinate and bring forth many new plants. The Monarch butterflies need Milkweed in order to survive.

@annephilbrick I am amazed that you have milkweed and it is seeding or was this picture taken last summer? You could help the seeds along by planting them, that way more have a chance of coming up. I hope you are doing well.

Hello
@myjob
I took these pictures last year in late September. Thank goodness there seems to plenty of milkweed growing in my area 😊🦋. Lots of fields with it.
I am well Thank You. .! I hope you are too. I'm glad to see you on HIVE. I hope the link I sent helped. :-)

Howdy, @annephilbrick, I was having trouble finding which password to sign-in with, I think they got a little carried away with the amount of them. I thought you must have taken the pictures in warmer weather. Has it warmed up any or are you still in winter mode? I have emoji's now.😀 😁 It is the little things that make me happy.

Hello...!!
😊💕
@myjob
I'm most glad you have you emoji's !! 😍🤗🐧🦉..
It has warmed up some...!! Today it's cold and windy. Supposed to be better this weekend. There's still chances of snow but it melts fast. It's feeling and looking more like Spring.

I still remember your beautiful post about the milkweed and the monarch butterflies ^^ .. It looks great how the black wasp decided to be part of your capture and just came out of the hole ;)

😊
Thank You!!
@adalger
The black wasp decided to be a part of the scene. I was surprised. My focused change to observing it. I was curious if more of them would come out of the hole.
I watched for awhile. Didn't see anymore..
:-)

I don't think that I have ever seen a black wasp before - but then again wasps aren't my favorite - but they are cool on a picture :)

😊
Hello
@seadbeady
There are plenty of them where I am. I usually get stung once or twice a year.
Thank goodness I'm not allergic to bee stings or wasp.
:-)
