This beach is located on the Mirandina coast of Venezuela, it is called Chirere and belongs to the rich lands of Barlovento, a hot land where the richest cocoa in the world is grown. It is also a rich land for fishing.
Esta playa está ubicada en la costa mirandina de Venezuela, se llama Chirere y pertenece a la rica tierras de Barlovento, tierra ardiente donde se cultiva el cacao más rico del mundo. También es una tierra rica para la pesca.
This day was accompanied by bad weather, the waters on the beach were rough, yet my son took a bath for a while. The trip was not so much a stroll as a search for beach stones that are special for decorating a wall and at the same time protecting it from the damage it causes in the wall frieze.
Este día estuvo acompañado por un mal clima, las aguas de la playa estaban alborotadas, aun así mi hijo se bañó un rato. El viaje más que de paseo fue realizado para buscar piedras de playa que son especiales para decorar una pared y a su vez protegerla del daño que causa en el friso de la pared.
There are people in charge of doing this work, it is a special soil that produces a frieze called pebble, perhaps many of you know it, it is widely used in swimming pools. There we met Mr. Simon who very kindly got us the stone chips we needed.
Hay personas encargadas de hacer este trabajo, es una tierra especial que produce un friso llamado canto rodado, tal vez muchos de ustedes lo conozcan, es muy utilizado en las piscinas. Allí conocimos al señor Simón quien muy amablemente nos consiguió los tobos de piedra que necesitábamos.
In the meantime I sat for a while and enjoyed the beach, its breeze and watching my children play for a while on the beach.
Mientras tanto yo me senté un rato y disfrute de la playa, su brisa y de ver a mis hijos jugando un rato en la orilla de la playa.
Beach Worm/Gusano de playa
I found this worm Tetrium Sphinx (Pseudosphinx tetrium) in a tree on the beach, there were many of them and I found them very beautiful because of their color, they are very eatable and until they finish with all the leaves of the tree they don't come down from there.
Este gusano Esfinge de Tetrio (tetrio de Pseudosphinx) lo encontré en un árbol de la playa, habían muchos de ellos y me parecieron muy bellos por su color, ellos son muy comelones y hasta que no terminan con todas las hojas del árbol no se bajan de ahí.
