Today, for the eighth consecutive year, a lavender festival was held in Karlovo. Its main aim is to spread Bulgaria's leading position in the lavender production. Also the mission of the festival is to to raise public awareness of the growing spread of lavender and its applications. For the fairy of of lavender this year was Emily Podgorska. With a children's show children from the surrounding kindergartens delighted the large audience.
