Last Month I went on a walk through the lovely Gelt Woods. Gelt Woods is a ancient wood make up of beech, oak and pine and is hidden in an old quarry that was excavated over several centuries ago by the Romans to build Hadrian's Wall. Many of the buildings in Brampton were also constructed with stone from this area.
