Hello everyone!
Time passes quickly, from one moment to another, from one season to another. And we remember that a short time ago we sat in front of the sea, and we dived with enthusiasm, now all that seems like the past, new waves, and another time.
Because we are almost in winter, we start with the Christmas decorations, but the sea is still there, close, beautiful and inspiring, it always is, and it also invites us to contemplate it in these other seasons of the year.
Winter sea & Thoughts on the shore.
There are those who like to breathe in that salt air more when the breeze cools our nose. It's different, it's maybe more relaxing, but it's just as beautiful.
The sea seems more intense, bluer, colder and wilder. Because there are fewer people and also less care, this sometimes happens: algae accumulates on the shore, giving off a strong, quite strong smell of the marine world, a salty air that permeates the humid wind.
The landscape therefore changes, it is not so paradisiacal but rebellious, disorderly, but with a unique charm as well. Nobody touches anything, nobody changes anything, nature feels free and authentic, different and somewhat strange. Change the view and the colors change.
Blue is stronger, more vivid, and it does not have to be a gray day with bad weather, it can be a cold sunny day, in which the sea also feels calm but without being so observed. And so that blue contrasts at different temperatures and in different ways, with those other colors of darker wild sand and with a strange greenish layer of algae that begins to dry under the rays of the sun, which now warm more gently. Another contrast.
But not everything changes completely, there near the marina, in the quietest part, our friends the seagulls now return and enjoy the views and the waves almost in solitude, with tranquility. There is another rhythm, the cold air brings different moments and sensations, a different sensation of freedom, of traveling with the mind, as if we could also fly.
It seems like another place but it is the same as always and now with more cold it seems to be sheltered as well, to be transformed or that everything simply flows as it should be.
We realize that nature is changeable in each and every one of its elements, while its beauty endures in a mutable form above divine perfection.
This natural setting gives us shelter, relieves us, inspires us and motivates us. It is there when we need it, and it becomes another part of our routine, a companion that always remains faithful there to welcome us, where we can let our heavy thoughts fly, close our eyes and shed our salty tears that end up mixing with those living, bright and crystalline waters that come and go...
Sea is still there in front of us, when we feel exhausted or overwhelmed, we need to breathe, we need the silence, the whisper of the waves of the sea, that smell full of life and those infinite views of that intense blue that takes us far, where we want to be.
Maybe that's what relaxes us or what inspires us, thinking that nothing is going to stay the same but that doesn't have to be bad, because we can experience other sensations and wonderful sights, because we will continue to feel alive, because we can keep coming back to see, feel, smell and live this wonderful Mediterranean Sea that gives us life. This is the amazing nature.

Beautiful incoming waves my friend. It much seems like a great place to visit regardless of the season. Like you said it's always there even though it changes due to the weather and humans not being involved during certain periods. Are those seagulls I see in some of the pictures? !HUG
Yep different feeling when summer season ends but still my favorite place where to be. And seagulls are always around also in some pictures 😉💙

This location is a real beauty and your writing is so beautiful as well. The sea is my forever happy place. I will buy a house close to one someday, so I can wake up to the view and the crashing sound of the waves🥹

"my forever happy place" lovely concept really, and well I can say that I live close, just few minutes walking still also thinking like you do, buying an even closer house to enjoy the views! But I'm happy already because it's close anyway not from my window, but a very short walk of 10-15 minutes! Hope we both can hear those waves from bed even!!!
