Greetings dear photography lovers
¡Amigos llego diciembre y con él la NAVIDAD!, la época más esperada por los más chicos de la casa y los no tan chicos también, jajaja, hay que confesarlo a todos nos fascinan estas fechas.
Friends, December has arrived and with it CHRISTMAS, the time most awaited by the children of the house and the not so children as well, hahaha, we must confess that we are all fascinated by these dates.
Para iniciar este mes, les traigo algunas fotografías de la flor del árbol de Tamarindo, su fruto es una leguminosa y es muy apreciado aquí en Venezuela. Lo usamos en la preparación de bebidas, refrescantes, helados y dulces, aunque, se debe tener cuidado en la cantidad que se consuma porque es un laxante natural.
To start this month, I bring you some pictures of the flower of the Tamarind tree, its fruit is a legume and is very appreciated here in Venezuela. We use it in the preparation of drinks, refreshments, ice creams and sweets, although, we must be careful in the amount we consume because it is a natural laxative.
Este árbol tropical de origen africano, es conocido a nivel científico con el nombre Tamarindus Indica. Su desarrollo es lento y suele tener una larga vida, debido a que es una planta muy resistente, se puede decir, que es toda una luchadora, y de eso puedo dar fe.
This tropical tree of African origin is known scientifically with the name Tamarindus Indica. Its development is slow and it usually has a long life, because it is a very resistant plant, one can say that it is all a fighter, and of that I can give faith.
Hace muchos años, en casa de mis padres, realizaron un trabajo de albañilería y la tierra que usaron para preparar el concreto con el que colocarían un piso, tenía semillas de tamarindo. Al transcurrir los años, pequeños círculos en el suelo comenzaron a levantarse, resulta, que al levantar los trozo de concreto, debajo estaba brotando una planta de tamarindo. ¿Qué tal?...
Many years ago, at my parents' house, they did some masonry work and the earth they used to prepare the concrete with which they would lay a floor, had tamarind seeds. As the years passed, small circles on the ground began to rise, it turns out, that when they lifted the pieces of concrete, a tamarind plant was sprouting underneath. How about that?
Reconozco que nunca me había percatado de sus curiosas y exóticamente hermosas flores, hasta hace unas semanas, que estuve observando un árbol en el colegio de mis niñas. Como normalmente son plantas muy altas cuesta detallar sus inflorescencia, pero esta tiene ramas bajas y pude observarla, parecen una pequeña orquídea.
I admit that I had never noticed its curious and exotically beautiful flowers until a few weeks ago, when I was observing a tree at my girls' school. As normally they are very high plants it is difficult to detail their inflorescence, but this one has low branches and I could observe it, they look like a small orchid.
De este árbol se puede usar todo, con la pulpa de sus frutos se puede preparar platos tanto dulces como salados. Sus hojas y corteza tienen propiedades medicinales, incluso su madera debido a su característica resistencia a las plagas de insectos, es muy usada en la construcción de muebles. Como pudieron leer, el Tamarindo es un árbol llenos de bondades y además muy hermoso.
From this tree you can use everything, with the pulp of its fruits you can prepare both sweet and savory dishes. Its leaves and bark have medicinal properties, even its wood due to its characteristic resistance to insect pests, is widely used in the construction of furniture. As you may have read, the Tamarind is a tree full of goodness and also very beautiful.

@mariajcastro28 tienes razón las flores son muy lindas, yo me percate de eso recientemente, como el árbol suele ser tan alto, sus pequeñas flores pasan desapercibidas.
