En días atrás les hable del dondiego de noche, pues les cuento que por fin pude ver su hermosa flor, me parece que tiene un color muy llamativo y es sumamente curiosa su forma. Algo que me llama la atención de la lectura que hice de ella, es que la catalogan como una tierna planta, y viendo sus flores estoy totalmente de acuerdo, al verla me causó mucha ternura. Entre sus otros significados me encontré que simboliza la exquisitez y también la cobardía. Como saben me gusta disfrutar del proceso de inicio a fin de la flor y aquí les muestro partes de él.
A few days ago I told you about the night dondiego, I finally got to see its beautiful flower, it seems to me that it has a very striking color and its shape is extremely curious. Something that catches my attention from the reading I did about it, is that it is catalogued as a tender plant, and seeing its flowers I totally agree, when I saw it it caused me a lot of tenderness. Among its other meanings I found that it symbolizes exquisiteness and also cowardice. As you know I like to enjoy the process from beginning to end of the flower and here I show you parts of it.
De está segunda planta me llamó mucho la atención su nombre, "Justicia" es muy querida por los jardineros porque no requieren de muchos cuidados y sus flores son de colores muy alegres, pueden estar expuestas al sol de forma directa y se menciona que puede crecer hasta 1 metro y sus hojas pueden ser perennes. Una cosa particular que me sucedió al querer saber su nombre con la aplicación Picture this, fue que me indico que la planta tenía deficiencia de hierro, a eso se debe que partes de las hojas señaladas están algo amarillas, esto me pareció genial, porque la misma aplicación me da la solución para mejorarla. Por aquí les muestro su evolución y parte del análisis de los síntomas.

Otra de mis consentidas de las cuales quise aprender un poco más, es de está delicada planta de nombre "Jazmín crepé" pero quedé algo preocupada pero al mismo tiempo es un alivio saber esta información. Se dice que toda la planta es tóxica debido a la concentración de alcaloides indólicos, que puede ser muy perjudicial si se ingiere por las personas o los animales. Otra cosa que se menciona es que simboliza entre otras cosas la amabilidad. Y describe a sus pétalos como arcos con bordes parecidos al de un encaje. Particularmente me parece que es una flor muy delicada y exquisitamente hermosa.
Another of my favorites of which I wanted to learn a little more, is this delicate plant called "Jasmine crepe" but I was a little worried but at the same time it is a relief to know this information. It is said that the whole plant is toxic due to the concentration of indole alkaloids, which can be very harmful if ingested by people or animals. Another thing that is mentioned is that it symbolizes among other things kindness. And it describes its petals as arches with lace-like edges. I particularly find it to be a very delicate and exquisitely beautiful flower.
Ya para finalizar este proceso de saber un poco más de ellas, quiero hablarles de esta planta que es muy conocida por todos, la famosa "Ixora" también posee nombres como: geranio de la jungla, coralillo, llama de los bosques entre otros. Una cosa que aprendí de ella el día de hoy es que soporta todas las plagas y enfermedades, por eso es muy fácil de cultivar, por eso no necesitas ser un experto en jardinería para poder tener una a tu cuidado. Es la flor oficial de Colombia. Esta planta tiene un valor sentimental, fue un regalo de mi amado padre que ya tiene varios años que se durmió en la muerte.
And to finish this process of knowing a little more about them, I want to talk about this plant that is well known by all, the famous "Ixora" also has names like: jungle geranium, coralillo, flame of the forests among others. One thing I learned about it today is that it withstands all pests and diseases, so it is very easy to grow, so you do not need to be an expert in gardening to have one in your care. It is the official flower of Colombia. This plant has a sentimental value, it was a gift from my beloved father who has been dead for several years.
