Honestly, I think that you should have a look and ask your dad if you can lend a hand, Then the two of you can fix it together and even have a picnic up there. They call it bonding time.
Yeah 30C is hot enough, as even I struggle in the 30s, but the people are used to it here.
When I was younger it was never a problem as I even worked in some of the hottest towns in the north of the country, but now my skin doesn't like the sun anymore.

The next winter is near Zac, and all he is going to do up there in a few weeks will be to shut the water off at the basin that the plunging doesn't break when there's water in the pipes and it freezes. If he needs help he will ask me, I am sure, but he knows my two left hands which are not meant to work.
I want to hike up there anyway once again in October if I can find enough time ... and time is the other problem I have.

It's a complicated thing with the cabin and he's getting old, probably too old to always drive up there and maintain it. And I don't have the hands nor the time.
I don't know if I will be able to get on a hike this Autumn. My work situation might change if some people including my boss don't listen to me. But wherever I go, work will be less and easier ... don't know if I want new people around me though.
Can't think of NFT's at the moment although I am working on it.
I might be offline for the rest of the day, but that depends on the time we come back from Lower Austria where I am driving with my daughter today to bring some more of her stuff to her new apartment. Next weekend she will move there and stay π
