Une espèce de lémurien qui a colonisé les collines avant d'en être repoussé par les agriculteurs de plus en plus invasifs et ne laissant désormais plus beaucoup de territoire à cet animal. L'histoire se répète de partout... En attendant, ce matin c'était à l'heure du petit déj dans le baobab devant la maison ! |
I continue my work of shooting in Mayotte and share with you today some pictures of an emblematic animal of the island, the maki. A species of lemur that has colonized the hills before being repelled by increasingly invasive farmers and now does not leave much territory for this animal. History repeats itself everywhere... In the meantime, this morning it was breakfast time in the baobab in front of the house!

This is beautiful and amazing too. Looking at Creation sometimes keep me wondering the amount of knowledge in animals.
