Spring is coming at the Southern Hemisphere, so we can see more flowers blooming at the parks and avenues. Today I show some photos of African daisies (also known as daisybushes) that I took a couple of weeks ago at a park. These flowers are simple but at the same time quite beautiful and they are in different colors. I show some violets daisies and others in white. I am not an expert in flowers, but I like them for their beauty and as object for photography. You can read more about this family of flowers in this article of Wikipedia .

La primavera está llegando al hemisferio sur, por lo que se observan mas flores en los parques y caminos peatonales. Hoy muestro unas fotografías de unas margaritas africanas, las cuales las tomé hace un par de semanas. Estas flores a pesar de su simplicidad son bastante bonitas. En las imágenes que muestro hay unas de color violeta y otras blancas. No soy experto en flores pero me gustan por su belleza y son objetos de mi actividad fotográfica.
As I mentioned, the photographs were taken while I was walking along a park (at Antofagasta, Chile), and I saw the flowers. I captured the images using my smartphone a Samsung Galaxy S20, unfortunately the macro capabilities of this camera are limited (compared to a SLR camera) in spite of this fact the images are of reasonable quality.
Como mencioné las fotografías fueron captadas mientras camina por un parque en Antofagasta y las vi. Me detuve y las fotografié usando la cámara de mi teléfono un Samsung Galaxy S20. Desafortunadamente la capacidad de tomar macros con este equipo es un poco limitada (si se compara con una camera reflex), a pesar de ello las imágenes tienen una calidad aceptable.
I show the black and white format of the photos, I like very much the b&w. I show two versions of the first image, using different porcessing techniques. The edition was done using Gimp.
También presento las imágenes en formato en blanco y negro, el cual me gusta mucho. De la primera fotografía presento dos versiones, usando procesamiento diferentes. La edición se realizó en Gimp.

The greyscale doesn't really work out for me, but the coloured ones are really nice and bright.
It's always funny how the seasons are different depending on the hemispheres. Over here we're heading into fall.
I know, not everybody like the B&W photography.
The difference of months in the seasons between the hemispheres causes some cultural awkward cultural situations. For example during Christmas, with all the cultural references to the snow and winter, whereas in the Souther Hemisphere it is summer.
