It's just one of the joys of living in the wild!
Some people find this North American marsupial to be repulsive, but we've come to really appreciate and enjoy them. This one was crawling around behind our poultry pens tonight, so I decided to capture her. That involved jumping a fence, chasing her up a tree, and then grabbing her tail. Once I stopped he ascent, I was able to grasp her neck to prevent her from biting me. I believe that this is the biggest opossum I've ever caught bare-handed, and she's an impressive specimen. I think I'll relocate her tomorrow to help keep our chickens and ducks safe, but at least she'll live to see another day.... or to enjoy another night. Have you ever caught one of these? Do you think they are cute?

They are beautiful animals, and I would say tender, of course, in the photos he looks intimidating because he is scared and it is his way of defending him. Look at this one, I took some pictures weeks ago, they live in my backyard, but I don't have chickens anymore, so I love that they live there, because they are very good at preying on centipedes, scorpions, rats, mice and ticks.
That's a big one!!!
Glad that you didn't kill her. 😍
Bit I can bet she was scared with all that chasing. Haha
Amazing! And she’s really big! Well done!
I totally think they are cute 😆 Look at these whiskers!
Awesome!
OMG! It's a mix beetween tenderness and wildness haha I think I would have a heart atack infront of this little friend, well not so little.
