Welcome to the 135th round of my special weekly photo challenge known as Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun :)
I know a lot of photo contests with nature as the main theme were/are/will be hosted by various people on the Hive blockchain but I wanted to come up with something more than just another photo contest where participants would submit their best natural photos. Therefore, I decided to go for quite an unusual concept that I am going to introduce in the following lines.
The aim of the Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun photo challenge is not to make you dig up your photo archives and submit the best pictures of nature that you have ever taken. Instead, I want you guys to go out and appreciate the beauty of our nature right now.
The internet (and the Hive blockchain as well) is flooded with picture perfect shots of landscapes, mountains, forests, beaches etc. taken years ago. But this is not what I want to see in this challenge. I want to see shots that may not be necessarily stunning but they must be fresh, proving that you have just physically spent some time outdoors in the fresh air. But remember that nature comes in many forms. It doesn´t have to be a pristine jungle or a deep remote forest. An urban park, a botanical garden, a little grove on the outskirts of your town - pretty much any place with some trees, plants, rocks, bodies of water or any other natural features would be just as fine ;)
Obviously, there is no way for me to verify whether the photo that you submit in the challenge is really fresh or if it was even taken by you so I am relying on your honesty guys. The prizes for the winners (as described below) are more symbolical than overly motivating so I don´t expect too much fraudulent behavior in this challenge anyway.
I want to keep the rules of this challenge as simple and benevolent as possible so let´s agree on just this:
Only one entry (photo) per person per round.
The photo must be yours and not older than one week.
Add a few words about the photo, at least where and when you took it.
You can start submitting your entries to this round in the comment section below from now until the next round.
Prior to publishing the next round post, I will pick 3 winners, give my full upvote on their entries and feature them in the next round of the challenge. As long as the response is not too overwhelming, I will also try to give some smaller upvotes on all of the other entries to reward all participants.
I might change the concept and/or the rules of the photo challenge later on, depending on how things go. I usually host the challenge on Thursday but when needed for some reason, I can host it on some other day so better check my blog regularly not to miss out on it ;)
To keep up with you guys, I submit my own fresh natural photo to every round´s post too :) Here is my contribution to start out this round:
It´s been cold and rainy here for the past two days but just before that, I was still lucky enough to enjoy some nice and relatively sunny weather when walking around the parks and forests in the Prague neighborhood of Stodulky. The lovely serene place that you can see in the picture above is called the Asuan Water Reservoir. Just a few weeks ago, it was full of people swimming in the little lake but now it´s empty again as the autumn has been slowly creeping in and the temperatures have dropped significantly. I took the photo here in Prague, Czech Republic two days ago on Tuesday.

In this opportunity I participate with the landscape at sunrise from the trans Andean highway that borders the town of "La Puerta" in Venezuela. I go for a walk in the morning along this road, in a town that is in the middle of several mountains, this creates the particularity that the sunrise sun comes late. In other words, one of the nontañas on the east side covers the town and it is after 8 in the morning when it begins to appear bathing the houses with its rays. Today that I took these photos, it dawned with a splendid sun that showed its brilliant rays, I managed to capture those moments that I hope you like.

Hi @phortun, after the ban of entrance to the forest areas had been lifted, I visited this forest and took the photo last weekend. The forest is nearby a road which leads to a dam, and the path in the forest goes through the forest a little more. Location: Istanbul, Turkey.

Hello to all,
yesterday we took a walk in a nearby park. The weather was rainy and cloudy all day. The walk was all the nicer when it was dry for a short time. I was able to take some nice pictures. Especially beautiful I found this rose blossom, which shone due to the moisture on it insane.

This week I come with another macro. I met Ramaria Formosa during my sunday walk in another beech forest in Katowice, southern Poland. This fungi is toxic for humans, and can be distinguished by U-shaped bifurcations.
It's weird because during my walk I didn't pick a single edible mushroom I'd know but plenty of other species. Only after I got to know that Amanita Rubescens is tasty but not that popular. I add the picture as a bonus one.
Great close up, thanks! Btw what do you call this mushroom in Polish? I just google checked and we call it "kuřátka sličná" in Czech, which literally means something like "beautiful little chickens" :D

In Polish it's called "Koralówka strojna" which might be loosely translated as well-dressed coral.

A very special and green view during the sunset two days ago, while hiking near the Adventist University of Medellin, I could not waste the view and take this photo of this beautiful green campus bathed by the last rays of the sun where you can see black herons also taking advantage of the last hours of the day on the university campus. Greetings from Medellín, Colombia.

My friend invited me to eat out and she brought me to Siliman Beach. After she ordered food she called me to look at the moon. I was busy checking my phone to the point that I haven't noticed the moon. After a while, my mind was occupied to get a nice photo of the moon however, I was disappointed as I could not get a nice shot. Well, I had a great time that night as I was able to spend my night outdoor and got a chance to clearly see the beauty of the moon. I ended my Monday night with smile painted on my face.

After several rainy days, the sun appeared...
A walk in the fields of Banat (Serbia) before sunset fills me with peace... This time the small sunflowers have just opened their petals..... Even though it's mid-September they don't mind... They sprouted later and now decorate the field. ..

Plants are part of nature. I don't need to go to the woods to take photos of them. It's just on our balcony 😊. Trying this newly bought crystal ball with our bonsai tree. Nature is really pretty at any angle. Taken this just yesterday here in Hong Kong.

I also don't like to see standard super classical photos of sight-seeings, I can see them in the web anywhere
it's much better to show some rral pieces of life in your place, and Hivians will be able to see a piece of real life, not matter it's fantastic or not, but it's sincere and real!
