Well I am not talking about the green grass, which always pull to play and to roll on it. Looking at it, may give a grass feeling, but this is something which is known as Kasi/Sewar in Hindi. And people around the globe knows it by Moss

It is the gift of "Hari" a.k.a Lord Vishnu the preserver, who makes the nature so beautiful and amazing. The names is inscribed on one of the many brick that was laid on the soil.

Walking down the lanes does give me a pleasant natural feeling and also allow me take some note on these Mosses which is very soft, gentle and looks like a heavy fold of grass that grown along the bricks path.

When I refer the Collins dictionary, it gives me the following defination.

Moss is a very small soft green plant which grows on damp soil, or on wood or stone.

And rightly so, the area was bit damp due to water motor near to it and frequent usage.

The curiosity to know more about it, further help me to drill down on the following details.

Mosses are a type of bryophyte, which is a group of non-vascular plants. This means they lack the vascular tissue, known as xylem and phloem, that most plants have for transporting water from roots to leaves and stems. Instead, mosses have rhizoids, or small hair-like appendages that anchor the moss and take in water. As a result, mosses grow low and flat along the ground because they do not have the support system necessary to grow upwards.

Interestingly, many people.loves to have these Mosses on their home to decorate. They put them on wall or in their dining area to get some lovely natural feeling.

Why not so, Green is nature colour which is very vibrant and lively.

My exploration ended here some good basic understanding about these Mosses.
