Feliz noche hivers, hoy vengo con un tutorial express, super sencillo, se trata de un cojín hecho con tela de jean, un proyecto de reciclado y con el propósito de participar en el challenge de @needleworkmonday , en su perfil pueden ver las bases del concurso, pero básicamente se trata de hacer una obra utilizando tela de jean, la creatividad es infinita. Yo elegí este cojín por la necesidad de uno y fue la inspiración rápida que recibí al ver el concurso. Bueno sin más preámbulo vamos manos a la tela.
Good night hivers, today I come with an express tutorial, super simple, it is a cushion made with jean fabric, a recycling project and with the purpose of participating in the challenge of @needleworkmonday, in his profile you can see the rules of the contest, but basically it is about making a work using jean fabric, creativity is infinite. I chose this cushion because I needed one and it was the quick inspiration I received when I saw the contest. So, let's get to work.
Los materiales son un par de jeans que no uses, tijeras, agujas, hilo del color necesario, esponja para el acolchado y las medidas, en este caso es redondo y use una tapa para el molde, luego corté 2 círculos en la tela jean y 2 más en la esponja ya que es delgada, estas últimas son 1 cm más pequeños que las de la tela, para que entren sin problema, tambien corta 8 tiras de 10cm x 4 cm cada una para amarrar el cojín a la silla.
The materials are a pair of jeans that you do not use, scissors, needles, thread of the necessary color, sponge for the padding and the measures, in this case it is round and I used a cover for the mold, then I cut 2 circles in the jean fabric and 2 more in the sponge since it is thin, the latter are 1 cm smaller than those of the fabric, so that they fit without problem, also cut 8 strips of 10cm x 4 cm each to tie the cushion to the chair.
Primero cosemos por el revés las tiras del agarre y le damos vuelta como indica la foto, luego enfrentamos los derechos de las 2 piezas en jean y aseguramos alrededor con alfileres, también incluye con los extremos hacia adentro las tiras, ubicandolas estratégicamente para el amarre en la silla. Ahora sí, cose alrededor, dejando un espacio para darle la vuelta e introducir el acolchado, finalmente pasa una costura para afirmar el borde.
First we sew the back of the strips of the grip and turn it as shown in the photo, then we face the right sides of the 2 pieces in jeans and secure them around with pins, also with the ends facing inwards the strips, placing them strategically for the tie in the chair. Now sew all around, leaving a space to turn it over and insert the padding, finally sew a seam to secure the edge.
